Yes, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) Airport (TRV) has enclosed, ventilated smoking zones after security in both terminals. Terminal 1 (domestic) has one on the first floor by the Kerala Spices Shop, and Terminal 2 (international) has one near Lift 3 by Gate 3. Outdoor smoking areas are also available near the terminal entrances.

The airport handles both domestic and international traffic, and the operator (Adani) confirms enclosed smoking zones after security in both terminals. Since so many Thiruvananthapuram travellers route through the Gulf, on a layover you can step into the after-security smoking rooms at Dubai International Airport or the dedicated smoking rooms inside Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
Inside Terminals
In Terminal 1 (domestic), the post-security smoking zone is on the first floor near the Kerala Spices Shop, on the way to Gate 1 (Departure).
In Terminal 2 (international), the enclosed post-security smoking room is near Lift 3, by Gate 3.
The airport’s own smoking-zone page lists a counter near the smoking zone where you can buy cigarettes, and states that no lighters are available at the zone. Many Indian airports fit their rooms with wall-mounted electric lighter machines; Trivandrum lists none, so ask a fellow smoker for a light — your own lighter is taken at security.
Outside Terminals
Outdoor smoking areas are available near the terminal entrances at both the domestic and international buildings. The parking area and taxi stand area provide open space. Kerala’s tropical climate makes outdoor smoking comfortable throughout the year.
